Marianne, thanks for your messages. You have some fantastic stories to tell! It must have been so much lonelier back then, although as our experience shows, there are drawbacks to having access to satellite communications too. Wishing you a lovely retirement, hopefully with some sailing in the beautiful Gulf of Bothnia included too.
